Finally! An Update of PCUC, New Castle Chapter events and activities! ( 5 months overdue! – I’m sure not too many of you really checked in as often as I do, so you probably didn’t even know!)
Do you have too many irons in the fire! I DO! In fact, there’s another iron on the ironing board behind me as I type this update.
When I last updated (Feb. 8th) about our January 20th “Light A Candle for Life” Prayer Vigil, I added photos and text about our lighting of candles and ceremony at Kennedy Square. Then I promised ” Photos of the Prayer Service at the Fellowship Hall will be added soon.” So look for these photos now! Also for a You Tube audio of Rev. David Young’s talk, with lots of PCUC and other photos.
Rev. David Young was our speaker and gave the most passionate talk we’ve ever had at this event. There was much applause to his well prepared faith based pro-life speech. His topic “Black Lives Matter ~ Every Life Matters” was not only timely then, it has become timely recently with the senseless killing of nine African-Americans in a church in South Carolina.
REV. DAVID YOUNG’S SPEECH: Rev. Young spoke about the fact that the majority of blacks killed in America are killed through abortion. He included historical background and current statistics to prove this fact. I can’t do justice to his talk; so go to the link below to hear him on YouTube. She dedicated this in memory of my husband, Dr. Larry Marcella who delivered 7,083 babies here in Lawrence County.

Rev. David Young DEFENDS EVERY LIFE! We commend him for speaking out. He is the Chair of our PCUC New Castle Advisory Board.
