March for Life, Partnered with the Family Institute of Connecticut, and the Connecticut Catholic Conference Announce 2020 Connecticut March for Life

First ever official Connecticut March for Life to take place in Hartford on April 15th, 2020

HARTFORD, CT. – March for Life is excited to partner with the Family Institute of Connecticut, and the Connecticut Catholic Conference to organize the first ever official Connecticut March for Life on April 15th, 2020 in Hartford, Connecticut. Marchers will rally at the state capital to call for an end to pro-abortion extremism in the state.

“We are delighted to partner with such strong pro-life, pro-family organizations to help plan and launch the first Connecticut March for Life. This is an opportunity for Connecticut pro-lifers to come together and remind state legislators that Connecticut stands for the rights of the unborn,”  said Jeanne Mancini, President of March for Life Defense and Education Fund. “Every human life should be valued and protected under the law.”

“We are extremely grateful and excited to have a day where all people can come together in common purpose to celebrate life and to commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice for all of our citizens, especially the most vulnerable – the unborn,” said Christopher Healy, Executive Director, Connecticut Catholic Conference.

“Thousands of Connecticut citizens travel to Washington every year for the March for Life. Now, for the first time, Family Institute of Connecticut is partnering with the March for Life and the Connecticut Catholic Conference to bring the March home. On April 15th, we will make our voice heard in Hartford, that every unborn child should be welcomed in life and protected in law,” said Peter Wolfgang, Executive Director, Family Institute of Connecticut.

The Connecticut March for Life will start with a rally at the State Capitol at 11:45 am ET, followed by a march at 12:45 pm ET. More details, including a list of speakers, to be announced soon.
